More than 20 Largest Japanese Corporations Visited Facilities of Ust-Luga Multimodal Complex17 may 2013
On the 17th of May, 2013 a group of Japanese businessmen headed by Mr. Yamamura, the Consul General of Japan in Saint Petersburg, visited facilities of Ust-Luga Multimodal Complex. They represented more than 20 largest Japanese corporations.
During the presentation of Ust-Luga Multimodal Complex Project Mr. Erofeev, the General Director, told in detail about the project and answered received questions. According to the opinion of the majority of the meeting’s participants, development of the portside territories of Ust-Luga Sea Merchant Port to locate logistic and industrial facilities was a right direction. It was also mentioned that inclusion of Ust-Luga Cargo Airport "Усть-Луга", in Ust-Luga Transport Hub would allow forming a complete multimodal transport and logistic hub that would be in demand of many international transport and logistic companies.
