Ust-Luga Multimodal Complex Industrial Logistic Zone Project was approved by the Interdepartmental Commission on Placement of Productive Forces in Leningrad Region.

 

Ust-Luga Multimodal Complex Industrial Logistic Zone is formed on the territory of Vistino settlement in Kingiseppsky district. It will include the following projects: a dry port zone (a zone aimed at cargo bonded storage), Yugantovo industrial zone and a zone of the cargo airport and Aerotropolis.

 

LLC “Multimodal complex Ust-Luga” as an investor envisages engineering and transport preparation of the complex’s territories for resident enterprises.

 

Maxim Shevchenko, the Regional director of LLC “Multimodal complex Ust-Luga” reported the company attracted actively such partners as industrial and logistic enterprises planned to be located as residents of the industrial parks. Special attention will be paid to location of enterprises working according to the import substitution program. Implementation of the project will allow attracting more than 110.8 billion rubles of investments to the region, including 8.43 billion rubles to construction of engineering and transport infrastructure and 102.4 billion rubles to construction of property for the residents of the industrial parks.

 

It is planned to build an A class runway, a cargo terminal, a passenger terminal for business aviation, a logistic complex, a heliport, an aviation service zone and a customs terminal at the cargo airport zone. The investor notes establishment of the cargo airport near Ust-Luga Sea Port, M-11 federal road and the railway junction will allow forming the largest transport hub in the North-West of Russia.
